Celebrating 30 Years of Partnership, Trust, and Innovation
SIMDI Group was honored to welcome Mr. Toshiyuki (Tiger) Ishii, President & CEO of Canon Singapore Pte. Ltd., to the Maldives for a special visit marking more than three decades of partnership between Canon and SIMDI Group.
As part of the visit, a special press conference was held at SIMDI Head Office, bringing together members of the media and SIMDI Group Management to reflect on the journey of Canon in the Maldives, the strength of the Canon–SIMDI partnership, and the role this collaboration has played in supporting customers, businesses, and professionals across the country.
Since Canon was introduced to the Maldives through SIMDI in 1995, the partnership has continued to grow and expand access to Canon’s comprehensive portfolio of imaging and business solutions, including printers, scanners, cameras, and professional imaging products. More than three decades on, this milestone is not only a celebration of how far the partnership has come but also of the trust, relationships, and shared progress built along the way.
