A Staff Get-together was organized at SIMDI Head Office, 10th Floor on 30 January 2011, Sunday to mark the 10th Anniversary of SIMDI Company Pvt Ltd. The event commenced at 7.30am with recitation of Holy Quran by one of the longest serving staff of SIMDI Company, Mr. Hassan Waheed.
The 10 year Logo designed by Mr. Ahmed Infas, Cooperate Designer was officially unveiled by Mrs.Ibthisaam Ibrahim Mohamed Didi which was followed by opening of SIMDI Prayer Room. This was a proposal put forward by the members of SIMDI Recreation and Social Club (SRSC), the key handover was done by Dr.Asri Shaheem and was received by SRSC Coordinator Azza Abdul Azeez.
SIMDI is celebrating a decade of service, as a leading business company in the Maldives. To make this event a memorable one, exciting competitions have been organized throughout the year in which all the staff can participate and show their skills, talents and creativity. The details of these events was announced by Mr.Ahmed Irash on behalf of the Executive Team. Some of the notable events include a T-shirt Design Competition a SIMDI Song Competition, Business Development Idea Competition and Art and Craft Competition which is open to all staff as individuals or groups.
SRSC’s annual Calendar was launched by Mr.Yooshau Saeed, General Manager of SIMDI along with SRSC President Ahmed Nisam.
The last item was cutting the 10th anniversary cake by the longest serving staff from each division and subsidiaries. From SIMCON Mr. Wilson Kumar, SIMTEC Mr.Ali Hamdhoon, SOA Mr.Ahmed Ismail as Alamgir & Ramieze is on leave , RESU, Mr.C S Mithran, SBWH Mr.Jalal Ahmed , IMM Group Mr.Helal Uddin , SBM Mrs. Fathmath Nadhy , FLYBY , Mrs.Fazleen Mohamed, SMART DESIGN Ms.Arlence Araullo on behalf of Mr.Appuhami couldn’t attend GO DOWN Mr.Ahmed Shareef, IMDC Mrs. Mariyam Ameeza, KMO Ahmed Mueen, SPEED TRACK Dr. Asri Shaheem , Representing HEAD OFFICE and Support divisions Mr.K Mahendran and on behalf of Manaam and Directors Staff members Mr.Mujbar Mohamed , the cake cutting was followed by morning tea to commence the get-together. |
