SIMDI Company Private limited has officially signed the partnership agreement of “17th Haveeru Sports Awards”, at the ceremony hosted by Haveeru Sports Awards on 28 April 2010.
Our Managing Director Mr. Abdulla Yasir signed the agreement on behalf of SIMDI Company and Chairman of Haveeru, Dr. Zahir Hussain signed from Haveeru Daily.
Haveeru Daily, the leading newspaper in the Maldives has played a very important role over the past 3 decades to develop sportsmanship in the country. Haveeru started its yearly Sports Awards in 1994 to support the growing football talent, awarding its Golden Boot to the highest scorer of the season. Today, it gives away awards in 13 categories for 7 very popular sports in the Maldives.
This is the second time that SIMDI Company has partnered with Haveeru in this prestigious award. This is as part of SIMDI’s commitment towards delivering its social responsibility to the community. |
