Shane joined SIMDI Company in September 2009 as the Manager - Sales & Marketing for the Resort Supplies Division. He has a proven track record and experience spanning over seventeen years in sales & marketing, predominantly in Pharmaceutical life science product and services.
Shane has gained experience working in Sri Lanka and in the United Kingdom as a business development manager for Multinational Pharmaceutical organizations such as Wyeth Ayest and Eli Lilly, which are among the top ten pharmaceutical companies in the world.
Shane has decided to take a side step from the field of pharmaceuticals and join resort supplies, where he heads a team of two marketing executives & a technical team. As the head of the department, His responsibilities are the overall management and well being of the division, and to ensure a smooth operation with customer satisfaction and loyalty.
He is very much involved in liaising with customers & suppliers, budgeting, formulating business plans, setting targets, managing logistic operations and inventory, training and development, and ensuring that all staff achieve corporate objectives with high level of customer service and satisfaction. Shane’s future goals are to propel RE SU to archive excellence as the most sort after resort supplier in the Republic of Maldives, in an elite class of it’s own.
