Sanath Wasantha / Manager - Sales & Marketing (HOD) / SIMDI Bonded Warehouse
 
Sanath has over 10 years of proven expertise in the field of alcoholic beverages. Sales & Marketing has been his forte from the inception of his career. Prior to joining SBWH, he had been employed at Free Lanka Trading Co Ltd (Liquor Division) & ALPHA Orient Lanka (a UK-based PLC) handling on trade key accounts in CMB Sri Lanka. He set his foot in SIMDI looking for foreign exposure an]d started at SBWH as a Marketing Executive in 2003. His extraordinary talent saw his progress from Business Development Manager to Manager – Sales & Marketing today, leading the division and responsible for overall general management of SIMDI Bonded Warehouse including strategic planning, budgeting, laying business proposal, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), achieving business targets and management of logistic operations.

Being at the forefront of relationship building and service delivery, Sanath is determined to ensure flawless service to customers and meet their expectations. His mission is to position SIMDI Bonded Warehouse as the premier source of liquor products in the Maldives and commanding majority of the market shares.
 
Kapila De Silva / Marketing Manager / SIMDI CONSUMER PRODUCT DIVISION
 
Kapila De Silva joined Simdi Company on November 2008 as Marketing Manager. He has 14 years of experience in sales and marketing for domestic as well as international market. He has excellent working experience with multinational company such as Marketing Manager for Dasa Group of Companies, Business Development Manager for Pee Bee Marketing (Pvt) Ltd, Sales Manager for Pactrade (PNG) Ltd, Alpha Orient Lanka and Shaw Wallace & Hedges Ltd.

He has the experience in handling and launching a diversified range of market-leading consumer products in domestic and international market such as Kimberly Clerk, Nivea, BIG, Adidas, Johny Walker, Grant’s, Holsten, Royal Dansk, Miaow Miaow, Hwa Tai etc. Currently, he is responsible for overall general management of Simdi Consumer Product Division and S&D Gourmet Supermarket, and actively involved in setting business plans, setting targets, staff training, diving sales force & building relationship with stakeholders. His missions include contributing to the company growth, efficiency and profitability by utilizing professional management skills, improving return in investment, providing best service to the customer and improving market share.
