Chandana Abeywickrema / Store Manager / GODOWN
 
Prior to joining SIMDI Company, Chandana gained invaluable experience and knowledge working in the industry of travel and tourism in Sri Lanka. His decision to move to Maldives and to take up a position in SIMDI Company was to explore and experience new avenues. A humorous and a self-motivated person, he firmly believes in the philosophy that nothing is impossible and thus leaves no stones unturned to achieve his goals. Today with 16 years of experience in different professions, Chandana is responsible for the total operation and the maintenance of the Warehouse, Priority setting, captaining the entire delivery system and stock control process. He is also in charge of monitoring and guiding delivery personnel to assure adherence to service/delivery parameters which is of highest standards. He aims to improve the performance of his division by constantly inspiring and driving his staff towards efficiency and reliability.
 
Ahmed Zaiyan / Manager / IMM Store
 
Upon completion of his secondary education in 1996, Ahmed Zaiyan joined DIMMS Company Pvt Ltd; a general trading company, which was one of the oldest companies in the country at that time. While working in DIMMS and its subsidiary companies in the field of accounting he continued his education and completed a diploma in AAT. Between 2001 and 2003, he completed CIMA up to Final Level and joined Lohifushi Island resort as an accountant. He gained many experiences while working at Lohifushi, from handling and controlling purchase, taking a prominent position among the management team. He was also the key person in the development of hotel management software. Armed with knowledge and experience in different fields he joined SIMDI Company and took charge of STOCK BROKERS MALDIVES PVT LTD. Since then he has been progressing through SIMDI Company and at present he is the Manager of IMM Store which is one of the general trading arms of SIMDI Company. He is committed to excel in what he does and serve his stakeholders as best as he could with honesty and integrity.
